WHAT TO DO IF YOU RETURN FROM OUT OF STATE-update 11/17/20

It would be easier to show you the list of states and territories NOT on Connecticut’s current quarantine list, but this is the list of those that ARE. If you recently returned from any of the following states or territories with increasing COVID-19 rates (updated October 13), you fall under Gov. Lamont’s mandate that you self-quarantine for two weeks after you return.  The same applies to travelers returning to New Jersey or New York.

You can test out of Connecticut’s mandatory 14 day self-quarantine requirements through two options.  First, get tested within 72 hours before entering the state and receive a negative test result (until you get the results you must remain quarantined).  Alternatively, be tested in Connecticut after entering the state and receive negative results. Again, you must remain quarantined until you get the results. Employees and employers should be aware the state is currently only accepting results for nucleic acid COVID-19 tests, such as reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests.

The quarantine applies to these states and territories in RED, but not those in GREEN:
